Why are animals moving away from the equator?

Animals across the world are fleeing global warming by heading north much faster than they were less than a 10yrs. ago. Recent studies show that about 2,000 species have been shown to have moved away from the equator at an average rate of more than 15ft per day, about a mile per year. It has also been found that animals are also moving up mountains to escape the heat, but more slowly about an average of about 4ft per year. Read Full Article
