Simon Cowell's new show tanks in ratings.

Everyone was wandering if Simon Cowell could do it again with the 'X Factor' TV Show, and early signs show its not matching up to the competition. According to Nielsen reports, "X" had 12.1 million viewers for its heavily promoted two-hour debut in the prized 18 to 49 demographic. The rating is considered far below the numbers for the night's ratings of the Emmy-winning sitcom "Modern Family," which had 14.3 million viewers for its season premiere.
