The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild awards have been announced and leading the pack with nominations for this years awards is the movie The Help which was based on the #1 New York Times best seller by Kathryn Stockett. The movie got four nominations including Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Leading Role for Viola Davis who plays the maid Aibileen Clark, and Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In a Supporting Role for Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, and they also received a nomination for best ensemble in a motion picture.
The television nominations were lead by ABC’s Modern Family which had five nominations including outstanding comedy ensemble, which TV shows Dexter and 30 Rock follow with three nominations each. For a full list of nominations click here.
