Why is your resume getting rejected?

Are you wounding why they haven't called you for an interview? When human resource personnel are going through resumes’ to hire new employees they don’t want to have to spend days looking through resumes for qualified candidates. Your resume should get to the point and provide recruiters the information they need to known about you that will make them want to call you. Here are some helping tips:

1) Your resume is too long
Your resume doesn't have to include every award, job, training, or activity you had in your adult life. You need to include those items that are relevant to the job you’re applying to.

2) Your resume includes spelling and grammar mistakes
Before you turn in your resume for consideration be sure to complete a spellcheck of your document or even have a friend or family member that is good at proofing to review your resume.

3) Clearly describe and identify your job benefits
You have to make sure you stand out from the competition. Your duties need to be written in a way that highlight your contributions to the company you were working for, how did you increase/or add to the growth and success of the company. Read full article
