
It is not widely known that Jobs was adopted and he never knew his biological father, a Syrian man. When asked about why Jobs didn't connect with his biological father, Jobs biological father said that "it was up to Steve to connect with him because he was worried that Jobs would think that he wanted his money and he did not." But now tobs has passed he said "he wished they would have connected."
Jobs did search for members of his biological family and found his sister, Mona Simpson, a famous author and they become extremely close. She even dedicated her first book to him and used him as character in her second book.
Jobs was married to his wife for 20 years and they had three children. It's also said that Jobs reportedly fathered a daughter at age 23 and initially he didn't believe it was his daughter but they later became very close when she was about 7 years old, and then in her teenage years, she lived with Jobs. She's presently a journalist in NYC. Also before Jobs passed he allowed a biographer to sit down and talk to him because he wanted to tell his story so that his children would know him.
